After a 20-year
hotel career, hospitality industry veteran Phil Gallo formed THE GALLO
GROUP in February 2000. Based in Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida, the company was founded on the following basic principals:

Beginning
his hotel career in operations with the Doral and Swissotel companies
in New York City, Gallo assumed sales and marketing responsibilities with
such notable Florida resorts as the PGA National Resort & Spa, The Boca
Raton Resort & Club and LaPlaya Beach Resort. Feeling that the hotel industry
had changed over the years in the way it was addressing the needs of the
customer and guest, Gallo decided to venture out on his own.
"There was
a time when a person's word and a handshake were the most meaningful things
in business", states Gallo. "I still believe in that concept".
The focus
of The Gallo Group is twofold: site selection services as it relates
to the placement of meetings and the recruitment of sales and marketing
candidates for hotels nationwide.

Recruitment
Services
As a former Director of Sales & Marketing, Phil Gallo understands
the trials and tribulations of finding good, reliable candidates.
When searching for a site, we are able to speak to hotel sales people
as a perspective "customer". Therefore, our recommendations on a potential
sales candidate's abilities are more accurate and insightful than
a normal industry recruiter. The Gallo Group also understands the
cost involved in recruiting new talent. We are flexible in negotiating
a fee that will not impede the hiring of a candidate. |
